Company Guard

Job Summary

The Company Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and order within the company premises. This role safeguards employees, visitors, properties, equipment, and information against theft, accidents, fire, and other safety hazards. The guard also assists in implementing company rules, safety protocols, and supports HR in maintaining discipline and compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Security & Safety
• Monitor and secure all entry and exit points of the company premises.
• Check identification, log entries, and screen visitors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the premises, ensuring proper documentation.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other unlawful acts.
• Assist in fire prevention, emergency evacuation, and first-aid response if necessary.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Patrol designated areas regularly to ensure order and compliance with company policies.
• Operate CCTV, alarms, and other security monitoring devices.
• Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or accidents to HR and management.
• Prepare and submit daily security log reports.
• Coordination & Compliance
• Enforce company rules and regulations in coordination with HR.
• Assist in crowd control during company events, assemblies, or emergencies.
• Coordinate with HR and Admin for incident reports, employee concerns, or security-related violations.
• Support HR in implementing disciplinary measures for security-related infractions.
• Other Duties
• Perform bag and belongings inspections as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are properly parked and company traffic rules are observed.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors for directions, safety reminders, and emergencies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the guard post and surrounding area.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or college level; preferably with security training or certification
• At least 1–2 years of experience in security services, preferably in an industrial or automotive company setting.
• Physically fit and mentally alert.
• Knowledge in security systems, CCTV operations, and basic first aid is an advantage.
• Trustworthy, disciplined, and able to handle pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
