Welding Leadman

Job Summary

Assists the Senior Production Supervisor and Welding Supervisor in streamlining production processes and developing methods to utilize personnel and resources in the most economical ways possible. Develops ways to reduce costs and minimize errors and rejects during Production

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accepts from the PPC Group the mechanical drawings and Work Order Processing Sheets (WOPS) for the items to be produced in the production line.

2. Helps to ensure that enough personnel are available to meet requirements.

3. Helps to ensure that enough training and orientation of production personnel is being conducted.

4. Ensures smooth turnover of accountabilities from section to section within the production floor and to other departments.

5. Helps to supervise the execution of WOPS on the production floor.

6. Coordinates with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure that quality standards are met and corrective actions are implemented.

7. Helps to monitor the performance and output of each welder.

8. Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

9. Does other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Skills

1. At least one year of working experience as a supervisor or assistant supervisor in the related field

2. Preferably 2-4 years experience in a manufacturing or production operation setting

3. Must posses reasonable analytical skills

4. Must posses qualities of a leader

5. Good communication skills

6. Able to work with minimal supervision

7. Willing to work Mondays to Saturdays, 7am to 4pm and render overtime or night shift as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php17,180.00 per month
