JOB SUMMARY

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teacher designs lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, evaluates student progress, and fosters a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, discipline, and academic growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in mathematics that align with the prescribed curriculum and learning objectives.

• Design and implement engaging teaching methods that cater to varied learning styles and abilities.

• Assess, record, and report on students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Integrate technology, real-life applications, and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.

• Provide extra support and remediation for struggling students as needed.

• Encourage and monitor the development of students' mathematical reasoning, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance and student performance.

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.

• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.

• Stay updated on new teaching methods, educational research, and curriculum standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
