Asia Brewery, Inc. (ABI) was founded on January 27, 1982, with the vision of providing high-quality beverages at affordable prices to Filipino consumers. With one of the largest and most modern manufacturing plants in Southeast Asia, ABI is located 45 kms southeast of Manila in Cabuyao, Laguna. The plant processes 4 million hectoliters of beer annually and includes various facilities such as a glass plant, plastic crate manufacturing plant, corrugated carton plant, power generating plant, and wastewater treatment plant. Additionally, ABI's bottling and packaging plants service some of the country's largest food and beverage companies.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Calabarzon, Philippines. The EHS Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and maintaining environment health and safety (EHS) programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting workplace safety across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and evaluating workplace conditions, developing safety protocols, providing training to employees, and investigating incidents to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety
• Expertise in implementing and managing Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
