Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented IT Support Technician with experience in operating and maintaining CCTV systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IT fundamentals, networking, and surveillance equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and maintain CCTV systems across multiple locations
- Perform routine checks to ensure all cameras and recording systems are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot CCTV, network, and basic IT issues
- Install, configure, and upgrade CCTV hardware and software
- Maintain security logs and ensure data backup integrity
- Support general IT operations when needed
- Coordinate with vendors or technicians for repairs and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with company security and data policies
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience operating and managing CCTV systems (DVR/NVR/IP Cameras)
- Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
- Willing to work on-site and respond to urgent issues when required
Advantages (Optional)
- Knowledge of access control systems
- Experience with CCTV analytics or monitoring software
- Basic electrical or cabling experience
