Safety Officer

SAFETY OFFICER (Supervisory)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• In charge of Safety policy implementation.
• Ensures that personnel are always wearing personal protective equipment.
• Observe safety practices and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Reports unsafe acts and conditions and recommends remedial actions.
• Records and monitors lost time incidents.
• Thoroughly familiar with and involved in the implementation of company safety program and assists the personnel in the execution of standard policies.
• Conducts safety inspections on a periodic basis.
• Addresses all hazards or potential hazards as needed.
• Thoroughly familiar with the OSHA, local, and state safety codes and regulations.
• Involves in the review of procedures and work methods and recommends improvements.
• Coordinates with other Safety Officers in the plant.

Qualification:

• Graduate of any 4-year course preferably Engineering
• With at least three (3) years of actual practice preferably from a supply chain and manufacturing company.
• Must be BOSH (Basic Occupational Health and Safety) SO2 certified.
• With a working knowledge of DOLE/Labor Code provisions and Department Orders (DO) pertaining to Occupational Safety and Safety
• With effective communication and good interpersonal relations skill
• Willing to assign at Pinagbuhatan, Pasig
