Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Layout Artist to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw manuscripts (Word documents) into professionally designed layouts for print or digital publication. You will work closely with editors, writers, and other designers to ensure visual consistency and readability across all materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert raw manuscripts (primarily Word documents) into polished, publication-ready layouts.
  • Design and format pages using Adobe InDesign, ensuring high-quality visual presentation.
  • Apply consistent typographic and design styles across documents according to brand or publication guidelines.
  • Use Adobe Photoshop to enhance or edit images as needed for layout integration.
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare final files for printing or digital distribution.
  • Troubleshoot layout and formatting issues during the production process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Layout Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and page composition.
  • Ability to interpret and execute layout directions from editors or creative leads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing files for both print and digital output.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with editorial workflows is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Experience working in publishing, advertising, or editorial environments.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe tools (Illustrator, Acrobat) is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,070.00 per month
