The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum 1-3 years business accounting experience
• Excellent English-language communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent educational credentials with a focus on accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards
• High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software and platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality results
• Can easily build rapport with team members, other staff, clients, and service

Your Daily Tasks

• Take ownership of the reconciliation process for CAM buildings and portfolios
• Summarize the division's current financial status by collecting data and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Review monthly financial statements for CAM buildings and portfolios
• Manage direct financial reporting for a portfolio of customers, including community condos and homeowners' associations
• Prepare monthly reporting packets and perform reconciliations for customer accounts
• Coordinate with the Chicago-based accounting department to reconcile and report on CAM and corporate accounts
• Verify documentation and request disbursements to prepare payments
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist in the onboarding process of new community associations
• Answer questions related to accounting procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal accounting and operational processes
