The IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing the efficient, reliable and secured operations of the organization's IT infrastructure on a day-to-day basis. This role shall ensure the functional reliability of servers, networks and systems, while supporting end-users in terms of access management, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Your Responsibilities· Install, configure and update hardware and software platforms, such as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, network devices and. including
· Set up and manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
· Monitor and maintain servers, networks and system to ensure maximum performance reliability.
· Establish and enforce system security protocols, with the implementation of firewalls, antivirus tools and patches, backups and vulnerability management procedures.
· Provide first‑level technical helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, escalate complex problems as needed.
· Prepare and maintain documentation of technical procedures and IT operational policies, system configurations, support issues and resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
· Manage IT asset tracking and inventory, procurement, licensing, and warranty and lifecycle oversight.
· Take lead in planning and implementation of backup and system recovery protocols and procedures to ensure minimal operational disruptions.
· Collaborate with senior IT staff on system projects, upgrades and performance optimization.
Your Needed Skills and Experience· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
· At least 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related roles.
· Good knowledge of networking, i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching.
· Hands-on familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory and MS Office productivity tools.
·Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle interactions with end users and colleagues.
· Detail-oriented with highly organized to properly manage IT assets and process compliance documentation.
· Proven ability to work under pressure independently and within a team environment.
· IT certifications, such as, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA, are advantageous but not required.
