Our core product empowers media ad sales and operations to make quick, confident decisions by giving our customers a single point of access to explore, analyze, and share insights from their advertising business.

The Role
The Software Engineer is a key member of our Tech team, responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing our data integration platform and suite of products. This role blends strong software engineering skills with a deep understanding of data processing, requiring collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet customer and business needs. This role is open to candidates located in the Philippines (Metro Manila and neighboring areas preferred) and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Product & Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain core products and data integration pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Work on both new feature development and ongoing platform improvements, including data-integration optimization.
• Customer Data Integration: Lead the engineering aspects of customer onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of customer data from various systems. Collaborate closely with product, sales, and success teams to build solutions that meet customer-specific requirements
• Data Quality & Performance: Implement quality control measures and monitoring tools to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data flowing through the platform. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in data handling and system performance.
• Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with product, success, and sales teams within cross-functional agile teams to deliver sprint goals related to product development, customer onboarding, and platform enhancements. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and proactively manage timelines and risks.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Explore and recommend new technologies and methodologies that can enhance our products, improve efficiency, and support advanced capabilities like data reporting, anomaly detection and forecasting.

Activities & Deliverables

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Agile Development: Participate in sprint/sprint cycle planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
• Platform Maintenance: Engage in the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of data-integration platform, ensuring the integrity and reliability of customer data integration.
• Code Development: Deliver well-documented, testable, and maintainable code across various projects to meet evolving customer needs.
• Research & Development: Contribute to ongoing R&D efforts aimed at improving our data capabilities and product features.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication across teams.

Skills & Characteristics

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Solid programming background with experience or willingness to learn in languages and tools such as Python, Ruby, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Git, AWS, etc.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
