Join the I.T. and Support Section of Mach Union Laboratories, Inc.

Are you a tech-savvy professional who enjoys a mix of systems administration and hands-on technical support? We are looking for an I.T. Staff member to ensure our laboratory's digital and operational infrastructure runs at peak performance.

The Role:

As part of the I.T. and Support Section, you will be the backbone of our technical operations. Your goal is to minimize downtime and ensure that our analysts have the digital tools they need to deliver accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Support: Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, and lab-connected PCs).
  • Network Management: Monitor office connectivity (LAN/WLAN) and ensure secure data transmission.
  • LIMS Assistance: Support the use and maintenance of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Maintenance Synergy: Collaborate with the Maintenance team to oversee the upkeep of server rooms, cabling, and tech-dependent laboratory utilities.
  • Data Security: Implement regular backups and ensure antivirus/firewall protocols are up to date.
  • Inventory: Manage the I.T. asset inventory and assist in the procurement of technical supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
  • Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in I.T. support or systems administration. Experience in a laboratory or industrial setting is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: * Proficient in Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches).
  • Knowledge of database management and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of hardware repair and electrical safety.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to explain technical terms to non-tech staff, and a proactive "maintenance-first" mindset.
