PHP 50,000 - PHP 80,000/month

OVERVIEW:

A
TMP Designer
is responsible for ensuring that all TMP'S are prepared and submitted for approval, in line with our workload. Along with onsite compliance auditing and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reading construction plans and preparing TMP's for civil engineering works and other structures affecting road site operations on rural/urban roads and state highways.
  • Preparing TMP's for new subdivision development and building construction or maintenance that affect the road reserve.
  • Site inspections and meetings with contractors before drafting TMP's to ensure client requirements are met accurately.
  • TMP's are created according to, and follow all, current and relevant NZ/Aust Codes of Practice, Guidelines, Regulations and Acts.
  • All equipment shown in TMP's must comply with above NZ/Aust Codes of Practice, Guidelines, Regulations and Acts.
  • Collecting traffic data, such as level of road, traffic volumes, peak hour traffic and analysis of data for preparing Traffic Impact assessments.  Also conducting on site traffic counts if required for further analysis.
  • Submitting CAR's to RCA's to liaise with local and regional councils along with other agencies such as NZTA for access to the road network.
  • Inspecting and auditing sites as needed and ensuring compliance with the TMP and informing contractors of any changes in circumstance that would require submission of new plans to the relevant RCA/TMC.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience and/or knowledge with Australia / New Zealand Traffic Management Standards and Compliance

  • Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management

  • AS 1742 (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices)

  • Development of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for:

  • Roadworks and construction zones

  • Lane closures, detours, and traffic staging
  • Pedestrian and cyclist management
  • Ability to interpret:

  • Site plans, construction drawings, and work staging

  • Traffic flow impacts and safety risks

  • Customer service focused:
