School Principal

Job Summary:

The Principal serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the school, responsible for providing leadership in curriculum development, faculty supervision, student affairs, and overall institutional management. This role ensures the effective implementation of educational programs, adherence to regulatory standards, and the promotion of a positive learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership:The role involves overseeing the implementation and scheduling of academic programs, including activities, exams, report card distribution, and final exam checking, ensuring compliance with DepEd, CHED, TESDA standards, and institutional policies.
• Faculty and Staff Supervision: Manage teaching and non-teaching staff, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and professional development. The role involves reviewing teachers' syllabus/lesson plans, preparing class schedules, and organizing regular faculty meetings.
• Student Development & Discipline: Implement policies that foster student success, well-being, and discipline in accordance with school rules and regulations.
• School Administration: Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including budget management, facilities oversight, and compliance with government requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, students, faculty, and external partners to enhance school programs and services.
• Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Lead school accreditation efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high educational standards.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and review institutional policies to align with best practices in education management.
• Public Relations & Marketing: Represent the school in community events, professional organizations, and promotional activities to enhance its reputation.
• Crisis Management: Ensure the safety and security of the school community by implementing emergency response plans and risk management strategies.
• Other Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the School Director or Board of Trustees.
