ABOUT STI TRAINING ACADEMY

STI Training Academy is expanding its core technology training offerings with the launch of an
Applied Coding & Software Development Program
in 2026. Rooted in STI's long-standing strength in computer education and practical skills training, this program is designed to produce
job-ready developers
through hands-on, industry-aligned instruction.

We are seeking
qualified and committed Coding Instructors
who can deliver applied coding education, mentor learners, and contribute to the development of a flagship technical program.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Coding Instructor will be responsible for delivering practical, skills-based coding instruction from beginner to applied levels. The role involves hands-on teaching, project supervision, learner mentoring, and collaboration with the academic team to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver hands-on coding classes aligned with the approved curriculum
  • Guide students through real-world projects and capstone outputs
  • Conduct code reviews and practical competency assessments
  • Support learners in building and maintaining GitHub portfolios
  • Provide mentoring and academic guidance to students
  • Collaborate with the academic and program development teams for continuous improvement
  • Ensure learning outcomes meet industry and employability standards

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SPECIALIZATIONS

(Applicants may specialize in one or more areas)

  • Web Development
    (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, )
  • Python & Software Automation
  • Mobile Application Development
    (React Native or Flutter)
  • Databases & APIs
    (SQL / NoSQL, REST-based services)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong professional experience in software development
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners
  • Teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an advantage but not required
  • Strong communication skills and professional discipline
  • Commitment to practical, skills-based education
  • Industry practitioners are encouraged to apply
