The position is hybrid-based in the Philippines, requiring remote work with at least one day per week in-office attendance.

About the Role:

We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to assist the Information Security Head in supporting information security operations and compliance initiatives. The primary focus of this role is to help with the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of security frameworks, policies, risk assessments, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable following structured processes and instructions.

This role is highly focused on assisting with security compliance and governance activities, making it particularly suited for individuals who enjoy developing and maintaining compliance documentation, writing reports, and ensuring adherence to security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in ISMS (Information Security Management System) implementation, operations, and security enhancement activities, including security incident response and management, internal and external security risk assessments, physical and logical security controls, security reviews, and documentation.
• Work under the direction of the Information Security Head to ensure organisational security compliance with relevant security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct periodic security and risk assessments (e.g., new system assessments, vulnerability assessments, security control checks), security monitoring, and access reviews.
• Support the Information Security Team in implementing and maintaining a Supplier Risk Management program, a Disaster Recovery (DR) program, and an ISMS Internal Audit program.
• Contribute to the development and continual improvement of security policies, processes, and methodologies by undertaking other security projects and operational tasks as directed.
• Maintain security documentation and assist in the preparation of compliance reports.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
• Understanding of security frameworks, vulnerability assessments, and security operations.
• Experience in security operations, security monitoring, or GRC-related tasks is beneficial.
• Ability to support high-quality security documentation, assessments and conduct compliance checks
• Basic understanding of information security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, APP), and risk management practices is preferred.
• Be able to work as a team member on tight deadlines and follow structured instructions.
• Familiarity with security tools and assessments (e.g., vulnerability scanning, log reviews) is a plus.
• Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams.
