						Corporate Comptroller
We are an established restaurant chain operator and food manufacturer in need of a Financial Comptroller. The company has been in operation for 15 years and is well established in the hospitality industry. Office based in Pasig
The Candidate must have past experience and capabilities in performing the following tasks:
- Comptrollership of finances and daily cashflow
- Comptrollership of inventories
- Managing audit functions
- Budgeting, forecasting and business strategy
- Compliance with corporate reports on a timely basis (monthly P&L/IS, B/S, Bank reconciliation etc.)
- Managing cost centers (Labor/COGS) and pro-actively recommend ways to decrease overhead expenses
- Ability to meet government mandatories
- Negotiate with BIR and LGUs
- Negotiate with suppliers, lessors and partners
- Negotiate with banks and financial institutions
- Provide meaningful financial advise to management
- Oversee corporate administration and HR functionalities
Minimum 3-5 years of comptroller or senior finance management experience is required for this position.
Candidates with hospitality industry experience are preferred for this role.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation laws, and BIR compliance.
- Expertise in construction accounting principles, including job costing, progress billing, revenue recognition, and expense tracking.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) & advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills for financial forecasting, cost analysis, and risk management.
- Experience in handling audits and liaising with external auditors and government agencies (BIR, SEC, etc.).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIR compliance and tax negotiation is required
