Job Summary:

To be able to know and conduct the materials testing for construction materials according to standard methods and specification. To be familiar for the National & International Standard test methods & specification with ASTM, AASHTO & DPWH.

Detailed Job Description:

1. To identify laboratory equipment and its uses.
2. To be oriented on the laboratory equipment proper handling and maintenance.
3. Perform the quality test on soil and soil aggregates base on standard.
4. Perform the quality test on course and fine aggregates base on standard.
5. Conduct Field Density test by sand cone method and non-nuclear SDG.
6. Perform testing for fresh concrete, sampling, slump test, unit weight for yield of concrete.
7. Conduct compression / flexural test for hardened concrete.
8. Conduct testing for rebars, physical appearance, tensile and bending.
9. To conduct physical test of cement, sampling, consistency & time setting.
10. Prepared worksheet for every test conducted.
11. Encode and finalized test reports after double checking by SLT & LIC.
12. Responsible for the monthly physical inventory of Measuring & Testing Equipment (MTE)

and Calibration Schedule to be submitted to your supervisor.

1. Prepare Daily & Weekly accomplishment reports and submit to laboratory supervisor regularly every week.
2. Maintain proper handling and maintenance of all laboratory equipment / apparatus in the laboratory.
3. Responsible to report any damages or defective equipment to the laboratory supervisor with supporting incident report and MTE Evaluation report.
4. Maintain 5S good housekeeping in the whole laboratory.
5. Perform such other function as may be assigned to you by the company's management.
6. Continue study and learn other test procedures and specifications in ASTM, AASHTO and DPWH.
