Job Summary:
Responsible for providing highly accurate and reliable service by operating 2D Echo, ECG, and Treadmill machines in a safe and proficient manner in order to obtain information/images that will be used in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists, registers, queues, verifies information of the patient in the Heart Station.
Ensures that signed waiver / consent will be secured from the patient who will undergo a Treadmill test.
Checks, cleans, and maintains 2D Echo / ECG / Treadmill machines and recommends repair or replacement of the defective machine.
Conducts review of patients' medicine history, provides clear instruction and informs that patients' exposure are set onestablished guidelines
Prepares patients by explaining the purpose of the procedures and conducts review of patients' medical history.
Arranges attaches, adjusts supportive devices to obtain precise position, and prevents patient from moving and to lessen discomfort.
Operates 2D Echo / ECG / Treadmill machines to obtain quality and relevant information that will be used in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Records the result, prepares and submits reports to the Physician for analysis and maintains patients' confidence by keeping information and confidential
Notifies Physician of patients' abnormal result and assists in interpreting the image / data obtained.
Monitors inventory of medical instruments and office supplies and recommends replenishment of the items.
Prepares and submits reports of all patients seen and examined at the Heart Station.
Participate in capacity building activities on safety and health and other OSH related topics and programs
Proper use of all safeguards and safety devices furnished for workers' protection and that of others
Comply with Instructions to prevent accidents or imminent danger situations in the workplace
Observe prescribed steps to be taken in cases of emergency including participation in the conduct of national or local disaster drill
Report to their immediate supervisor or any other responsible safety and health personnel any work hazard that may be discovered in the workplace
Accomplishes departmental goals by performing other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
-Nursing graduate preferred
-Graduate of any medical course but trained in the same capacity
-At least 1 year experience in the same capacity, preferably
