English Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English language and literature, with the ability to engage students in a dynamic learning environment. This role requires a commitment to fostering students' love for reading and writing while developing their critical thinking skills. The English Teacher will also be responsible for creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Teach various aspects of the English language, including grammar, composition, literature, and linguistics.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Incorporate research-based strategies to enhance students' reading and writing skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Provide library services support to enhance students' research capabilities.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles, including Montessori approaches.
• Foster an appreciation for literature through creative projects and discussions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience in teaching English at the appropriate educational level.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in proofreading and editing written work.
• Knowledge of curriculum development processes and educational standards.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques that promote a positive learning environment.
• A genuine passion for educating students and inspiring them to achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of the Mandarin language.
• IELTS Certification is a plus.
