Key Responsibilities
- Working with stakeholders to clearly define what the project will and will not include (scope), as well as the specific goals and deliverables.
- Developing a detailed roadmap that outlines tasks, timelines, milestones, required resources, and a strategy for execution.
- Building a skilled team, assigning tasks based on individual strengths, and providing clear direction
- Fostering a collaborative environment, resolving conflicts, and keeping the team motivated and aligned with the project's goals.
- Ensuring the project has the necessary resources—including people, equipment, and materials—and allocating them efficiently.
- Creating and maintaining a project schedule, monitoring progress against that schedule, and adjusting as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
- Proactively identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate or avoid them. This includes having contingency plans in place for unexpected issues.
- Serving as the go-to person for the team and stakeholders when issues arise, and using critical thinking to devise effective solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Implementing quality control processes to ensure that all deliverables meet the agreed-upon standards and stakeholder requirements.
- Acting as the main point of contact and maintaining open, transparent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and the project team. This involves providing regular updates, reports, and responding to inquiries.
- Ensuring that all parties involved have a clear and realistic understanding of the project's progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Working with the client to get formal sign-off that the project is complete and the final deliverables have been accepted.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, from initial plans to final reports.
- Reviewing the project's performance to identify what went well and what could be improved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- With atleast 1-2 years of experience as a Project Manager in a software development company.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in risk management and change management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data analytics
