About the role
We're seeking an experienced Island Barista to join our team in the stunning tropical paradise of El Nido, Palawan. As an Island Barista, you'll be responsible for serving delicious coffee and beverages to our guests, while embracing the relaxed island lifestyle. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a beautiful seaside setting.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing a wide range of hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages to our guests' satisfaction
- Ensuring excellent customer service and a positive dining experience for all guests
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, following all health and safety protocols
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborating with the wider food and beverage team to deliver seamless service
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of experience working as a barista or in a similar coffee/beverage service role
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and the ability to craft high-quality espresso-based drinks
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a love of the island lifestyle
