Job Summary

We are looking to hire a licensed Civil Engineer with strong structural engineering expertise and solid architectural knowledge, capable of preparing layouts, drawings, and technical details. The role focuses mainly on minor projects such as repairs, renovations, and revisions that require fast execution and quick response, with occasional major projects of moderate scale. Speed, technical accuracy, and responsiveness are critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural and structural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and details
  • Perform fast revisions and updates, especially for minor repair and renovation projects
  • Handle minor projects (repairs, retrofits, small renovations) with quick turnaround
  • Assist in major projects when required (medium-scale, not overly complex)
  • Conduct basic structural analysis and design
  • Coordinate with architects, draftsmen, subcontractors, and site personnel
  • Provide clear technical instructions and clarifications for site implementation
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and field coordination
  • Ensure compliance with engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations

Project Scope

  • Mostly minor projects requiring speed and efficiency
  • Occasional major projects, moderate in scale
  • Priority is fast action, quick response, and technical accuracy

QualificationsEducation & Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required)
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (required)

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering
  • Solid understanding of Architectural planning and detailing
  • Able to draw and prepare architectural layouts and technical drawings
  • Proficient in:
  • AutoCAD (required)
  • ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, Civil 3D (advantage)
  • Knowledge of local and international codes (NSCP, ACI, ASTM)
  • Ability to prepare:
  • Structural and architectural drawings
  • Revisions, shop drawings, and as-built plans
  • Basic cost estimates and material take-offs

Work Style & Responsiveness (Critical Requirement)

  • Fast worker with strong sense of urgency
  • Highly responsive — quick to reply to messages, instructions, and revisions
  • Able to handle multiple minor tasks simultaneously
  • Can work efficiently under time pressure with minimal supervision

Project & Site Coordination

  • Can coordinate with:
  • Architects and designers
  • Site engineers and subcontractors
  • Carpenters, masons, and other trades
  • Willing to travel and respond to site concerns anytime when needed

Other Requirements

  • Willing to travel anytime if required
  • Knows how to drive a motorcycle and/or car
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
  • Reliable, proactive, and technically confident

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php20,000.00 per month
