The Opportunity
Our client, a rising independent Australian financial management firm with services covering responsible entities, trustees, corporate trusts, custody services, etc. is growing, and they are looking for one new
Fund Accountant
to join their vibrant, promising, and inspiring environment with an encouraging and high-performance culture.

This Fund Accountant will join the team to provide a comprehensive range of fund administration, accounting, management reporting, and tax compliance services to the fund managers of the MIT funds to assist the company in offering a one-stop-shop solution to international fund managers.

This position will work full-time in the first 3 months in ASW's office (BGC, Taiguig City), after that you will follow a hybrid work setup with 3 days in the office per week. Working hours from 6 AM to 3 PM every Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all client deliverables are in line with service agreements
  • Maintenance of accounting records including entering transactions into Reckon (experience helpful but not essential) accounting software
  • Processing of investor transactions
  • Tax compliance including distribution calculations and BAS returns
  • Liaison with external auditors and service providers
  • Preparation of annual Financial Statements
  • Preparation of periodical management reporting packs.
  • Assisting the managers with the daily oversight of a team of fund accountants

Key Skills & Experience

  • At least 4 years in handling full cycle fund cccounting experience; Balance Sheet, P&L, Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, Financial Statements, and NAV calculation. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in finance assets financial instruments.
  • Has worked at least one year as a reviewer
  • Experience with Geneva World Investor product is a big advantage
  • Willing to work in the office (in BGC) three days per week
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong discipline in record keeping;
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality
