Accountant (SG)

What you'll do:

1.) Accounting Supervision

Supervise assigned bookkeepers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Review and verify the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial records prepared by the bookkeeping team.

Review and verify payroll information for annual personal tax filings (e.g.,IR8A).

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Proficiently use Xero software for accounting tasks and training of bookkeepers.

2.) Financial Reporting

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet statutory and regulatory requirements.

Prepare unaudited and consolidated financial reports and GST filings at the end of each reporting period.

3.)Client Advisory

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing accounting related queries and concerns.

Who you are:

3 – 5 years of experience in an outsourcing firm is highly preferred.

Experience with cloud accounting platforms and exposure to diverse client portfolios preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

Strong knowledge of Singapore tax and accounting standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.

Independent, accountable, and proactive in solving problems.
