Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in real estate, engineering, or construction accounting. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting within the unique environment of construction and real estate projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Oversee project accounting and cost control specific to construction and real estate developments

Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes related to ongoing projects

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings

Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit issues

Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls tailored to the construction and real estate sector

Manage a team of accountants and support staff, providing guidance and development opportunities

Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate financial tracking of projects

Maintain updated knowledge of industry regulations and accounting best practicesQualificationsBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA license is an advantage

Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in real estate, construction, or engineering companies

Strong understanding of construction project accounting, real estate development costs, and related accounting processes

Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

Ability to lead and develop a team
