Who are we:

Uni-Vanguard Insurance Agency Inc is a non life insurance agency.

I. Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Growth Strategy: Direct financial planning to support our trajectory.
  • Performance Analysis: Provide deep-dive analytics on "Cost per Acquisition" vs. "Lifetime Value" of policies.
  • Decision Support: Assist CEO/COO with high-level policy and strategy decisions based on complex data analysis.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and implement strategies to minimize financial and operational risks.

II. Audit & Control

  • Daily Tracker-to-Bank Reconciliation: Absolute ownership of verifying number of Sales (Renewals, B2B, B2C) and Finance to match actual bank credits within 24 hours.
  • Remittance Policing: Ensure 100% on-time premium remittance to carriers. Zero tolerance for policy lapses due to financial administrative delays.
  • Incentive Validator: Final mathematical audit of all commission and incentives.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement rigorous accounting policies to prevent "system gaming" by the sales floor.

III. Operational Oversight

  • Budget Enforcement: Review departmental budgets and payment requests
  • System Automation: Creating finance policies and automate financial reporting and distribution channels (consignment vs. outright) using Quickbooks.
  • Compliance: Oversee all audit, tax (BIR), and regulatory functions to ensure the agency is "audit-proof."
  • Leadership: Supervise the financial reporting team and train finance staff on the requirements we have.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or Management Accounting. CPA license is highly preferred but not mandatory if they have a proven track record in high-volume reconciliation.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role. Experience in Insurance, E-commerce, or FinTech is a significant advantage
  • Good understanding of Philippine taxation (BIR compliance), labor laws (for payroll), and statutory benefits.
  • ERP/Accounting Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Advanced Excel and Data Skills
  • Financial Modeling: Ability to build 12-month rolling forecasts
  • High attention to detail
  • Adaptive Problem Solving

  • 50,000-80,000
