Job Summary:

The Grill Chef (Teppanyaki Expert) is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting grilled dishes with precision and flair. This role requires mastery in teppanyaki-style cooking, ensuring each dish is executed to perfection while providing a delightful and engaging dining experience for guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, and grill food items (meat, seafood, and vegetables) using teppanyaki and other grilling techniques.
  • Entertain and engage guests with interactive cooking presentations when assigned to live cooking stations.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of the teppan grill area and kitchen station.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor or Head Chef.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion control, and temperature guidelines.
  • Observe all food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
  • Support other kitchen operations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Grill Chef, Teppanyaki Chef, or similar role.
  • Skilled in teppan and open-flame grilling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
