Job Summary:
The Grill Chef (Teppanyaki Expert) is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting grilled dishes with precision and flair. This role requires mastery in teppanyaki-style cooking, ensuring each dish is executed to perfection while providing a delightful and engaging dining experience for guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and grill food items (meat, seafood, and vegetables) using teppanyaki and other grilling techniques.
- Entertain and engage guests with interactive cooking presentations when assigned to live cooking stations.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of the teppan grill area and kitchen station.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of dishes.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor or Head Chef.
- Follow standard recipes, portion control, and temperature guidelines.
- Observe all food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Support other kitchen operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Grill Chef, Teppanyaki Chef, or similar role.
- Skilled in teppan and open-flame grilling techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
