Position objectives:

The Quality control inspector is responsible on maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials or items, in-process products, and finished products; and recording quality results.

Job Duties:

  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Attend DMS meeting every 8: 00 AM.
  • Issues Inspection Trouble Report (ITR) for any non-conformance or deviation found and makes a follow up for the CAPA report if necessary.
  • Prepares Daily and monthly report as to production output and non-conformance found in area of assignment.
  • Familiarize with adequate knowledge in understanding and handling all phases and details of the job.
  • Coordinates on Production, PPC, and TSG on issues related to quality and yield performance by highlighting top defects that cause rejection or reworks.
  • Recommend improvement programs that would help to improve overall efficiency and quality.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time.
