Role Overview

We're looking for a talented and passionate Midweight Motion Designer to join our growing creative team at You will play a key role in bringing stories to life through animation, video, and visual effects across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid motion design experience who's ready to push their creativity and take on more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns, social media, product explainers, and branded content
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to develop and execute visual concepts
  • Animate 2D/3D assets, typography, and visual elements in line with brand guidelines and project goals
  • Edit and enhance video footage with motion design, sound design, and visual effects as needed
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail
  • Contribute to ideation sessions and creative development with proactive input
  • Stay up to date with design trends, techniques, and best practices in motion graphics and animation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in a motion design or animation role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience with video editing tools like Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong understanding of animation principles and timing
  • A keen eye for design, composition, colour, and typography
  • Basic 3D skills using Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar (a plus, but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to take direction and constructive feedback, and work independently when required
  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating a strong range of motion design work

Desirable

  • Experience in sound design or music editing
  • Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX tools
  • Knowledge of scripting/expressions in After Effects
  • Experience working within a brand or in an agency environment
