JOB OVERVIEW
The HR Audit Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing audits of HR processes, ensuring adherence to legal regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices within the company. The supervisor will manage a team of HR Audit Associates, oversee HR risk assessments, and work closely with senior management to implement recommendations, and improve overall HR compliance and effectiveness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and direct the planning, execution and reporting of HR audits across the organization.
This includes audits of payroll, recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, and employee records.
Lead a team of HR Audit Associates, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing mentorship and training to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure HR practices are compliant with Philippine labor laws (e.g. Labor Code, DOLE), regulations by the BSP, SEC, and Data Privacy Act.
Plan audit schedules and identify high-risk HR areas to focus on, using risk-based approaches for audits (e.g. payroll irregularities, data privacy risks, employee benefit contributions.)
Identify inefficiencies or weaknesses in HR systems and processes, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
Present reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Monitor implementation of corrective actions from previous audits and ensure improvements are sustained.
Stay updated with local and global HR regulations, industry trends, and best practices in HR auditing.
Conduct training on HR compliance, audit processes, and internal control standards for HR teams and other departments as needed.
