Industrial Engineering (IE) Associate

Purpose:

Support process improvement, operational efficiency, and documentation initiatives across all business areas, including stores, warehouses, logistics, and back-office functions. The role is responsible for collecting and analyzing operational data, supporting improvement projects, and maintaining accurate process documentation to ensure standardization and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct time-and-motion studies, workflow observations, and process mapping for store, warehouse, and logistics operations.
  • Document and update all operational processes across business units, ensuring alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collect and analyze productivity and efficiency data to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development of process flowcharts, manuals, and visual aids to enhance operational consistency.
  • Assist in layout design, manpower planning, and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in the implementation of Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement programs to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Prepare analytical reports, performance dashboards, and process documentation for management review.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure process compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (fresh graduate or with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Visio, or similar process mapping/documentation tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate clearly across teams.
