Position Summary: The Technical Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our automated processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that complex technical information is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate is an expert communicator with a strong technical aptitude and the ability to translate advanced concepts into understandable language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, process guides, API documentation for machine learning models, and internal system documentation.
  • Automation Documentation: Document the new and existing business processes, workflows, and tools that are being automated, ensuring that end-users understand how to interact with the new systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Analysts, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and Business Process Automation Specialists to gather information and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
  • Simplifying Complexity: Translate complex AI and automation concepts, such as model-driven insights or automated data flows, into easily understandable language for a variety of audiences.
  • Maintain & Innovate: Maintain and update documentation to reflect product changes and process improvements. Explore and implement new tools and platforms for creating more engaging and interactive documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a tech-focused environment.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and new technologies.
  • Experience with documentation tools and content management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent writing and editing skills, and a user-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and automation concepts is highly desirable.
