Location: Makati | Hybrid - 2x a week onsite

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will help with transforming how students make the leap between school and work through the power of software. You will work with cross-functional teams, including design and product, to build experience for students and teachers that are simple and delightful. You will play a role in leading the design, development, and delivery of complex solutions. You will be responsible for driving quality engineering practices to help build a world-class engineering team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable products and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and product, to build seamless and delightful experiences for students and teachers.
• Ensure engineering excellence around quality, performance and security.
• Continuously improving the engineering practices like code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Help build an open, collaborative workplace through learning from and sharing with your colleagues.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Proficiency in building and running enterprise-grade applications in the cloud.
• Backend technologies we look for include PHP, Laravel, application design, database modelling, and DevOps.
• Frontend technologies, including and Nuxt, are preferred, but React is also acceptable.
• Experience deploying to public clouds using tools like Docker, Terraform, Serverless and Kubernetes.
