Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs (classroom, virtual, or blended) tailored to employee or client needs.
- Conduct training sessions on software, systems, tools, or technical processes.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and skill gap analyses.
- Create instructional materials such as manuals, guides, e-learning modules, and job aids.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to integrate into training content.
- Provide coaching and technical support to employees post-training.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Customize training for various levels of learners (beginner to advanced).
- Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and participant progress.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Technical Trainer, Corporate Trainer, or in a similar role.
- Experience in instructional design and curriculum development is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the technical subject matter (software, IT systems, or relevant tools).
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical learners.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Adaptability to different learning styles and training environments.
- Analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and learner progress.
Preferred / Not Required:
- Certifications such as CompTIA CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), or equivalent.
- Experience in blended learning, e-learning design, or virtual training platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).
- Background in project management or process improvement (Lean Six Sigma, Agile, etc.).
