About the role
Suzuki Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Programmable Logic Controller to join our dynamic team. As a full-time PLC Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated control systems that are crucial to our manufacturing processes. This exciting opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in electrical/electronic engineering and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our company in the Calabarzon & Mimaropa region.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and program PLC-based control systems to optimise the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing operations
- Configure and commission PLC hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration with other automation components
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing PLC systems, identifying and resolving issues to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new automation solutions that enhance productivity and product quality
- Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel on the use and maintenance of PLC systems
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in programming and maintaining PLC-based control systems
- Proficient in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, sensors, and control system components
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and documentation skills
