Junior Associate Lawyer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Associate Lawyer to join our growing legal team. Underbars (those who just took the 2025 Bar Examinations) are welcome to apply.

What you'll be doing:

• Attend hearings in various courts and quasi-judicial bodies in the Philippines. We prefer those who have an interest in corporate practice and dispute resolution, and are looking to establish a career in private practice
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and business correspondence
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support the client's decision-making processes
• Assist with the preparation of legal opinions and court pleadings or submissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide general legal advice and support to the firm as needed

What we're looking for:

• Member of the Philippine Bar in Good Standing
• Underbars are welcome to apply (subject to different salary rate)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Someone who has the passion and drive to learn the law, as well as teach it to clients, if necessary
• Someone who isn't afraid to put in the time and effort to develop himself or herself, and encourage other members of the firm, to be great Philippine lawyers
• Someone who intends to have a career in private practice
• Someone who is not afraid to go against injustice

Other factors we take into consideration:

• The firm is aware of the adverse effects of the current traffic situation in Metro Manila (on work) and for this reason, takes into account the proximity of applicants to its main office in San Juan City, Greenhills in the evaluation of applicants.
