Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • At least five (5) years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end RCM processes, including charge entry, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-ups
  • Strong familiarity with HIPAA regulations and proper handling of protected health information
  • Hands-on experience with Practice Management Systems (PMS) or similar medical billing platforms
  • Solid understanding of insurance processes, including interpretation of EOBs and ERAs
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to organize workflows, communicate effectively, and guide team members

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily billing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Review, validate, and update patient demographics, insurance details, and charge information in the billing system
  • Ensure eligibility verification and payer checks are completed prior to claim submission
  • Oversee claim submissions and coordinate with insurance providers to resolve rejections and denials
  • Post and reconcile payments from insurers and patients on a daily basis
  • Review bulk payments, checks, and supporting documents prior to posting
  • Lead follow-ups on unpaid or underpaid claims and manage the appeals process when necessary
  • Communicate directly with insurance payers to resolve issues and ensure timely reimbursement
  • Generate and distribute accurate patient statements in a timely manner
  • Apply appropriate adjustments and contractual write-offs
  • Maintain organized and complete records of billing activities and correspondence
  • Prepare daily productivity or workload reports and ensure required approvals and sign-offs
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA standards and internal company policies at all times

Work Details

  • Schedule: Night shift, 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Work Setup: Work-from-home initially, with a transition to on-site work in Makati once office operations commence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php60,000.00 per month
