A dental clinic assistant - reliever (also known as a dental assistant) plays a key role in supporting dentists and ensuring that patients receive quality oral care. They were also prepared to be assigned as needed. Their duties and responsibilities typically include a mix of clinical and administrative tasks. Here's a breakdown:

II. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Responsibilities

Chairside Assistance

  • Assist the dentist during procedures (e.g., fillings, braces installation, crowns, extractions)

  • Hand instruments and materials to the dentist

  • Use suction devices to keep patients' mouths dry and clear

Patient Preparation

  • Prepare patients for dental procedures

  • Ensure patient comfort and answer basic questions

  • Take and record patient medical history and vital signs

Sterilization and Infection Control

  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

  • Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment

  • Follow infection control protocols

Radiography

  • Take dental X-rays, ceph xray, tmj

  • Process and develop X-ray films or digital images

Material and Equipment Handling

  • Prepare dental materials like cements, fillings, and impression materials, brackets and wires

  • Set up and break down treatment rooms

Administrative Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and request dental supplies and materials

  • Ensure inventory is well-stocked and organized

  • Follow FIFO

  • Monitor Repair and Maintenance

III. REPORTS

  • Daily, weekly, semi monthly, semi monthly, Quarterly and annual reports

    IV. OTHERS

  • Perform other functions that may be designated by the immediate head

Willing to work at VERA. Dental Clinic Unit 2A2 2F Phase 2, The Lifestyle Strip, Pan-Philippine Hway, San Antonio, Santo Tomas, Batangas

Job Types: Part-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php600.00 per day
