Job Description

As a CPQ Rule Writer, you will configure product options, implement logic-driven rules, and maintain CPQ systems for accuracy and efficiency. Your work ensures smooth product setups, reliable workflows, and precise configurations that align with global business requirements.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-time

Shift: Day shift, Weekends off

Work setup: Temporary WFH, Clark, Pampanga

Salary: PHP 70, PHP 170,000.00

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience writing rules in any CPQ platform (e.g., Infor CPQ, Merkato, Experlogix, Salesforce CPQ, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint-based development cycles.
• Demonstrated ability as a logical and structured thinker with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills - able to articulate complex logic in a clear, understandable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into accurate, scalable CPQ configurations and rules.

Your Daily Tasks

Product Configuration Setup in CPQ

• Define and configure products, product options, and product bundles in the CPQ system.
• Write and implement configuration rules that govern product logic, dependencies, and constraints (e.g., compatibility, exclusions, mandatory selections).
• Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for accurate component tracking.
• Set up and manage routing workflows to align with operations or approvals.
• Ensure product configurations reflect the latest updates, releases, or requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Maintenance

• Regularly review and optimize rule structures for performance and usability.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams to update evolving business logic.
• Participate in user testing and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of rules.
