DIRECTLY REPORTING TO : Production Supervisor

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY : Pantry Area

OUTLET ASSIGNMENT :

POSITION PURPOSE

The job usually entails preparing salads, cheese plates and other cold appetizers, Garnishing dishes with spices, nuts, fruit and vegetables, Preparing vinaigrettes, dips and herb-infused oils and may even encompass brewing coffee. The duties of the pantry depend on the size and type of restaurant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledgeable with the different ingredients used in performing cold kitchen activities;
• Knowledgeable with the different variety of vegetables being used for the salads;
• Does aesthetic design of fruits/foods being displayed in the food counter area and catering needs;
• Must be knowledgeable in bread, fruit, vegetable slicing;
• Perform meal-prep activities before guests arrive (like chopping vegetables, cutting fish and meat and washing fruits)
• Knowledgeable of the various salad dressing/mixes/sandwiches fillings & dessert;
• Operates various cold & hot kitchen equipment such as ice shaver, blender, oven toaster, microwave oven, etc;
• Prepares and design various types of salads and sandwiches & dessert & dressing.
• Does costing on all cold kitchen products before bringing out to the display area;
• Observe Personal Hygiene and Sanitation;
• Observe and practice food safety standards.
• Must constantly observe and practice first in, first out (FIFO)/ first to expire, first out (FEFO) system;
• Does food presentation and decoration regularly for food counters display or for catering events
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean station at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php540.00 per day
