Job Description:

  • Safely drive and operate the Hospital on Wheels vehicle to designated areas and project sites.
  • Ensure the vehicle is regularly cleaned, fueled, and maintained in proper working condition.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist the medical team with loading and unloading medical supplies, equipment, and patient transport when necessary.
  • Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and organizational transport policies.
  • Maintain a travel logbook, including mileage, fuel consumption, and service records.
  • Support field operations by helping set up tents, generators, or temporary medical areas.
  • Coordinate with the program team for route planning and scheduling.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when dealing with the public.

Qualifications:

  • Education: College Graduate (in any field) or undergraduate.
  • License: Valid professional driver's license (e.g., Restriction Code 2/3 or equivalent).
  • At least 2–3 years of professional driving experience.
  • Preferably with experience driving ambulances, mobile clinics, or similar service vehicles.

  • Skills:

  • Defensive driving and vehicle maintenance knowledge.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a healthcare team in diverse environments.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability is an advantage.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends or emergencies.
