About the role

Xtreme Works Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team in Ortigas, Pasig City. As an Accounting Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in bookkeeping and small practice accounting, contributing to the overall financial operations of our dynamic organisation. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with recording and categorising financial transactions in the accounting system
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ledgers
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks related to the accounting function
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Provide support to the accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and small practice accounting principles
