The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a
dedicated and highly skilled Cardiopulmonary Technician
to join our team and play a crucial role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary care. This role supports patient assessment, cardiopulmonary monitoring, and the operation of specialized equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment—aligned with our commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
What's the Role All About?
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests, including
ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and pulmonary function tests
.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate cardiopulmonary equipment and monitoring devices.
• Monitor patient vital signs, oxygenation, and cardiac function during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist physicians and clinical teams during cardiopulmonary procedures and interventions.
• Prepare patients for procedures by conducting assessments, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of tests, procedures, and patient data.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition during procedures, including assisting in emergencies when necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Follow strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and equipment protocols.

Qualifications
• Graduate of
Respiratory Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Technology, or related allied health courses
.
• Preferably with at least
one (1) year of clinical experience
in cardiopulmonary procedures or critical care support.
• Certified
Cardiopulmonary Technician
or equivalent credential preferred.
• Knowledgeable in operation, calibration, and maintenance of cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a high-acuity hospital environment with shifting schedules.
