Job Summary:

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, materials, and equipment to designated locations. This role requires adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while maintaining the vehicle in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company-assigned trucks for transport and delivery.
  • Load and unload goods while ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and fuel usage reports.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic rules, road safety, and company driving policies.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients for efficient delivery.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance and keep the truck clean and roadworthy.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • With a valid professional driver's license (Restriction Codes 2, 3 or 8 as required).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in truck driving (delivery or logistics preferred).
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
  • Physically fit, responsible, and reliable.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based, frequent travel.
  • May require long hours of driving and heavy lifting of goods.
