Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry, with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and food service management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu planning, food preparation, and team leadership. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food production, inventory management, and shift management.
  • Develop and execute creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting dietary needs.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize resource use.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during events and regular dining hours.
  • Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and culinary expertise.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the culinary field.
  • Strong background in fine dining, banquet experience, and restaurant management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
  • Proficient in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
  • Experience in inventory management and control within a kitchen setting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
