Job Summary:

The App Test Manager is responsible for leading the testing and quality assurance of payment and fintech applications, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing releases. This role will oversee all QA activities for web and mobile apps, implement testing strategies, and lead a team of QA engineers to deliver reliable and compliant solutions for end-users and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for fintech/payment applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, including both manual and automated testing specialists.
  • Oversee testing activities including functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure full test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security standards, and internal QA policies.
  • Define and monitor key quality metrics and continuously improve QA processes.
  • Evaluate and implement test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies suitable for fintech applications.
  • Report test results, risks, and quality insights to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software testing/QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience testing mobile and web fintech/payment applications is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools (manual and automated).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JIRA, TestRail.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to financial technology, such as PCI DSS or local banking regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
  • Experience in performance, security, and usability testing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
