Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations Management
- Supervise daily IT support activities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements when necessary.
2. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Assign and monitor tasks to IT support staff and technicians.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for IT personnel.
- Foster teamwork and ensure effective communication between IT staff and other departments.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Respond to escalated IT issues and provide hands-on technical assistance.
- Ensure proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring technical problems.
4. Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and accounts.
- Coordinate procurement of laptops, accessories, and other IT-related materials.
- Manage warranty claims, repairs, and disposal of obsolete equipment.
5. Security & Compliance
- Enforce IT security policies, including data protection and access control.
- Monitor for potential cyber threats and coordinate with the IT Manager for mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and client IT requirements.
6. Project Assistance
- Support the IT Manager in planning and executing IT projects.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and system administration.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and cybersecurity basics.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
