IT Supervisor

Key Responsibilities1. IT Operations Management

• Supervise daily IT support activities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements when necessary.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Assign and monitor tasks to IT support staff and technicians.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for IT personnel.
• Foster teamwork and ensure effective communication between IT staff and other departments.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Respond to escalated IT issues and provide hands-on technical assistance.
• Ensure proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Implement preventive measures to reduce recurring technical problems.

4. Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and accounts.
• Coordinate procurement of laptops, accessories, and other IT-related materials.
• Manage warranty claims, repairs, and disposal of obsolete equipment.

5. Security & Compliance

• Enforce IT security policies, including data protection and access control.
• Monitor for potential cyber threats and coordinate with the IT Manager for mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with internal and client IT requirements.

6. Project Assistance

• Support the IT Manager in planning and executing IT projects.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT support, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and system administration.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and cybersecurity basics.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
