Overview

We are seeking skilled WordPress developers for ongoing project-based collaboration. We offer approximately 1 project per month with consistent work opportunities for the right candidates.

Project Details:

  • Project Frequency: ~1 project per month
  • Project Duration: 3-4 weeks per project
  • Project Size: 15-25 pages per website
  • Budget Range: 13k-20k php per project (depending on complexity)

Technical Requirements: Must Haves:

  • 3+ years WordPress development experience
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Custom theme development (child themes)
  • Custom post types and custom fields
  • Responsive design implementation
  • Page speed optimization knowledge
  • English communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred:

  • Experience with Cocoon theme
  • Japanese market website experience
  • SEO implementation knowledge
  • Performance optimization (WP Rocket, etc.)
  • Quality assurance experience

Typical Project Scope:

  • WordPress custom theme development
  • Custom post types (News, Blog, etc.)
  • Custom page templates with editable content blocks
  • Responsive design (mobile-first approach)
  • Basic SEO setup
  • Performance optimization
  • Quality assurance testing

Working Style:

  • Communication: Facebook Messenger + email
  • Timezone: Flexible, but some overlap with JST preferred
  • Project Management: Detailed specifications provided
  • Payment: 50% upfront, 50% upon completion
  • Feedback: Regular progress updates expected

Requirements

  • Proficiency in WordPress development including theme customization and plugin development.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), SCSS, AJAX, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Experience with back-end technologies: PHP, Python (Django), Ruby on Rails, or .NET frameworks.
  • Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Understanding of system architecture principles and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with Docker for containerization of applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for hosting solutions.
