Job Description:

We are seeking a Chemist to support our laboratory operations by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and assisting with research projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

• Accepts, records and tracks all specimens or samples received in the laboratory; from receiving until release of test results
• Performs and records the approved procedures for specimen collection and handling, data processing and releasing of test results
• Prepares worksheets and/or reports for assigned tests
• Ensures that final test results are endorsed to senior chemists or head chemist for validation
• Assists the Head Chemist and Senior Chemists in all the laboratory test requirements of the laboratory
• Responsible for monitoring stock inventory and ensuring availability of all laboratory supplies (consumables, test kits, glassware and consumables)
• Performs monthly inventory of supplies in the laboratory area and aligns with Admin Assistant and suppliers on the replenishment of supplies
• Assist in setting up and documentation requirements of LIMS and Quality Management System (QMS)
• Performs laboratory activities according to agreed QMS

Qualifications:

• Licensed Chemist
• Basic understanding of chemical principles and laboratory techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and standard office software is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php25,500.00 per month
