Position Summary

Vera Cruz Apartelle is seeking an entry or mid-level Director of Social Media and Public Affairs to lead our comprehensive brand communications and external relations strategy.

This role is responsible for crafting and protecting the public image of the apartelle. You will be the chief architect of our digital presence, the primary liaison with media and community stakeholders, and the guardian of our brand's reputation. The ideal candidate is a sophisticated communicator, a self-starter, and a strategic thinker with experience in hospitality or real estate marketing.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Brand & Social Media Leadership

  2. Develop and execute the long-term digital and social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and bookings.

  3. Define and maintain a consistent and sophisticated brand voice, tone, and visual identity online.
  4. Oversee the creation and execution of all social media content calendars, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.

  5. Lead digital content production, which may involve directing a small internal team, freelancers (photographers/videographers), or a creative agency.

  6. Public Affairs & Media Relations

  7. Act as the spokesperson and media contact for the apartelle.

  8. Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key local, regional, and international travel/lifestyle media, editors, influencers, and bloggers.
  9. Develop and execute a public relations strategy

  10. Cultivate relationships with local community leaders, business organizations, and government entities to position the apartelle as a positive and engaged community partner.

  11. Reputation Management

  12. Oversee all online reputation management, strategically monitoring and responding to high-level guest feedback on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, , and Agoda.

  13. Leadership & Collaboration

  14. Lead, mentor, and build a small team, such as a Social Media Coordinator or Content Creator.

  15. Manage all external agency and vendor relationships related to PR, social media, and content.
  16. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure all communications are aligned with goals and operational realities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Php10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 16 per week
